Online registration opens Monday, 22 June 2026 on the official PMDC portal at mdcat.pmdc.pk. The regular registration deadline is 8 July 2026. A late-registration window then stays open until 13 July 2026 at a higher fee.

The MDCAT 2026 test itself is fixed for Sunday, 16 August 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. PST, held simultaneously across the country. The syllabus is unchanged from 2025 — 180 MCQs, no negative marking.

For candidates appearing inside Pakistan: Rs 9,000 during the regular window, rising to Rs 13,000 for late registration. For international test centres the fee is Rs 45,000, rising to Rs 55,000 late. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Who conducts MDCAT 2026 in each provinceConfirmed

MDCAT is a single national test mandated by PMDC, but the conducting body differs by region: UHS (University of Health Sciences, Lahore) administers it in Punjab, while Sukkur IBA University manages it in Sindh. ETEA runs it in KPK and the relevant body in Balochistan and the federal area. Wherever you sit, the paper, syllabus and 180-mark pattern are identical.

To register you need at least 65% in FSc Pre-Medical (HSSC) — raised from 60% — and at least 80% in both 9th and 10th (SSC/Matric) under the 2026 PMDC rules. There is no age limit and no cap on the number of attempts. A-level / O-level and other equivalent candidates apply on an IBCC equivalence certificate.

Keep ready: your CNIC/B-form, a recent passport photo, your Matric and FSc (or equivalent) result/marksheet, and a working email and mobile number for the portal account.

1. Create an account on mdcat.pmdc.pk from 22 June 2026. 2. Fill the profile with your CNIC/B-form and academic record. 3. Pick your test city. 4. Pay the Rs 9,000 fee via the listed banking channel before 8 July 2026 (or Rs 13,000 by 13 July for late). 5. Submit and download your confirmation; the roll-number slip is issued closer to the test date.

Roll-number slip & result datesTentative

PMDC has not yet published the exact roll-slip release date or the result date in the announced schedule. Based on past cycles the slip typically appears one to two weeks before the test and the result within a few weeks after 16 August.
