How UHS Punjab Merit Is Calculated

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore is the centralised admitting body for every Punjab government MBBS and BDS seat. UHS uses the standard PMDC weighting: 10% SSC + 40% HSSC + 50% MDCAT. The MDCAT here is the UHS-conducted Punjab paper. To compete on Punjab open merit you must hold a Punjab domicile.

Worked Example

SSC 1050/1100 = 95.45% × 10 = 9.55
HSSC 980/1100 = 89.09% × 40 = 35.64
MDCAT 148/180 = 82.2% × 50 = 41.11
UHS Aggregate = 86.30%
