A 6-month plan beats a 3-month sprint by giving you two full revision cycles, deeper conceptual mastery, and 18 timed mocks — the formula behind 90% of UHS-Punjab toppers above 195 (UHS 2024 result analysis).
- Phase 1 (weeks 1–10) — full syllabus, slow pace
- Phase 2 (weeks 11–18) — concept reinforcement + 9 mocks
- Phase 3 (weeks 19–26) — revision + 9 full mocks
- Daily target — 6 hours weekday, 8 hours weekend
- Total MCQs — 18,000+

Six months — roughly 26 weeks — is the sweet spot for students who finished FSc Part 1 and want to begin MDCAT prep early. This plan is gentler than the 3-month version but covers the same ground twice.
Phase 1: Foundation (Weeks 1–10)
Cover the entire PMDC syllabus once. Allocate two weeks per major subject block: Biology (3 weeks), Chemistry (3 weeks), Physics (3 weeks), English & LR (1 week). Read each chapter from the textbook, watch a Premeth lecture, then solve 30–40 MCQs.
- Weeks 1–3: Biology — 18 chapters at 6/week
- Weeks 4–6: Chemistry — 11 chapters at 4/week
- Weeks 7–9: Physics — 11 chapters at 4/week
- Week 10: English vocabulary + Logical Reasoning
Phase 2: Reinforcement (Weeks 11–18)
Re-do the syllabus at twice the speed. By now you know which chapters tripped you up. Use the Chemistry MCQ bank for weak topics. Take 9 sectional tests — one per week — plus a 200-MCQ full mock at the end of week 18.
Phase 3: Mocks & Revision (Weeks 19–26)
Solve 9 full-length mocks under UHS timing (200 MCQs / 210 min). Negative marking is −1 per wrong answer per PMDC 2024 rules. Maintain an error log and revisit it nightly.

FAQ
Q: Should I join an academy with this plan?
Optional. Academies cost Rs. 80,000–150,000 (NUST/STEP rates 2024). See our comparison.
Q: How do I project my aggregate?
Use the Premeth Aggregate Calculator after each mock.
Q: Is 6 months too long?
Not if you stay consistent. Most KEMU 2024 admits started 6–8 months early (UHS topper interviews 2024).
Q: How many revision rounds?
This plan gives you two complete rounds plus mocks-driven micro-revision.
Q: What about exhaustion?
Take Sundays off. Burnout costs more than any 8-hour Sunday session.
